Inevitable

Inevitable ~ Anberlin

Do you remember when we were just kids
And cardboard boxes took us miles from what we would miss
Schoolyard conversations taken to heart
And laughter took the place of everything we knew we were not

I wanna break every clock
The hands of time could never move again
We could stay in this moment (stay in this moment)
For the rest of our lives
Is it over now hey, is it over now

I wanna be your last, first kiss
That you'll ever have
I wanna be your last, first kiss

Amazing how life turns out the way that it does
We end up hurting the worst, the only ones we really love

I wanna break every clock
The hands of time could never move again
We could stay in this moment (stay in this moment)
For the rest of our lives
Is it over now hey, is it over now

I wanna be your last, first kiss
That you'll ever have
I wanna be your last, first kiss

Is it over now hey, is it over now
Is it over how hey, it's not over now

I wanna be your last, first kiss
That you'll ever have (that you'll ever have)
I wanna be your last, first love (that you'll ever have)
Till you're lying here beside me with arms and eyes open wide
I wanna be your last, first kiss for all time

Nature

so i felt like sharing all the beautiful sounds i wake up to every morning. now understand that i really do love nature and the place in which i live, but why do all the animals have to wake up so early and express their feelings?! i am not exactly what one would call a morning person. therefore i do not appreciate their spunk at such odd hours of the morning. but here are several of the lovely sounds i awake to:

ducks - quacking
rooster - crowing
horses - neighing
sheep - bahing (whatever it is they do)
birds - singing (if one could really call it that)
dogs - barking
and on occasion a woodpecker hammering away at the eaves just outside my window.

why would one ever want to sleep in when they could rather arise to such lovely sounds.

ooh, sarcasm is fun. : )

Headlights

A summer drive away from dying: a broken heart nothing to lose.
I know it hurts so bad just trying to please the ones you hate to love.
And I wrote this note about someone I used to know
so I'd remember how life can be so short when your left alone to wonder
how it is someone opens and shuts the door.

I know your cold but come home.
It's a shame how short we all have come.

You set your mind on cruise control; knuckles grip the wheel in fear to let it go.
Love is empty, love is cruel, love it blindly breaks the rules.
How could you have been a fool?
It's something all of us go through.
You choke back tears and swallow lies but those wiper blades won't fix you eyes,
count on having clouded vision for at least a little while.

And I know you're cold but come home: it's a shame how short we all have come.
And I know you're cold but come home.

Please don't face the headlights of the oncoming cars along.
We wont forget the past.
We wont forget the past. (And I know you're cold)
Say all the answers and I will let you go
I wont look back
and I wont look back.
Say all the answers
and I will let you go.
I will let you go.
I will let you go

Say all the answers and I will let you go
I won't look back
I won't look back.

Please don't face the headlights of the oncoming cars along
and I will let you go..

Aside from being basically one of the raddest guys EVER and the best super hero EVER, he is also (oh no, it doesnt stop there) the best bestfriend EVER!! Pretty amazing, huh? So, since I've built the suspense... do you want to know who he is?

-drum role please-

: ]

Today is the third day of my two week break and surprisingly, the break is going slower than I imagined it would. Whether it is because I'm not very busy, I am using my time wisely (for the most part) or something else, I am not sure. I do know, however, that it is definately nice to be away from school.
Yesterday, October 3rd I was baptized with other members of my tuesday night youth group. At first thoughts of being baptized I was kinda 'iffy' but I am now glad that I made the decision to.
As of now I have no plans for the rest of October break and am just taking one day at a time. I hope those of you reading this have an amazing, blessed week!

Tired//

So school again tomorrow...
Even though my weekend was boring for the most part, I had fun at the football game with Sam[antha] lol. It was SO fun to hang out with her and go to an away game : ) I love football and its fun to hang out and support our team. It was pretty cold at the game but her and I kept each other warm ; ) and we had some interesting coffee (we are PRO cofee makers, oh yeah!!) And then on the way home we danced (if you could call it that haha) in the car to some sweet tunes. Overall, that night was fun but the rest of my weekend was pretty boring and cold! It is definately getting chilly up here in Big Bear, but without any signs of snow. I can't wait for the first snow!! I am most definately looking forward to it and skiing this season. I'll probably be working at Summit again this season, so along with the snow will bring my winter employment. Anyway, only one looong week left of school until we have our convenient 2 week October Break! Heck Yessss! I can't wait.
Well, i hope everything is well with all of you out there... thanks for stopping by!
