Weird!!!

A few minutes ago I was on the phone with my mom, when a man's voice interupted our conversation. I couldn't figure out what it was at first. The voice, to begin with, sounded like that of my brothers. It then cut out, only to interupt my conversation again. When it cut out once again, I half expected the voice to come back on the line. When it didn't, I dropped it and went back talking to my mom, who hadn't heard the voice in the first place. About a minute later, another strange man's voice crossed onto the line. This voice was a deep, almost soothing voice. He was obviously having a conversation with someone, and they were talking about 'Michelle'. Yet again, I got my original connection back with my mom, who by now was getting tired of me talking about the interchanging phone lines. This 'party-line' effect continued for several minutes, until I hung up the phone.
I was fascinated by this! Ofcourse, I have heard of phone lines crossing before, but not recently. I thought it was a thing of the past. Like the stories I have heard, or the old movies I have seen, where family's had party lines. Back then, a person could pick up the phone and catch the latest gossip. When I told my dad about this just minutes ago, he quickly corrected me, and told me I shouldn't be listening to other peoples conversations. Well, it's not my fault! They were the ones butting into my conversation!
Ofcourse, no one was in the wrong, however it was rather fascinating. If any of you ever experience this, you will understand at least partially how I feel.

ART!!!

One of my favorite things to do is paint.
I absolutely love art, and my favorite medium is acrilics.
I started taking art in the 7th grade.
I had the oppertunity to study with the wonderful Mrs. Blauer.
It wasn't until the second semester of 8th grade that I began using acrilics.
Ever since I began using them I have been hooked.
Starting today, I am taking private art lessons with Mrs. Blauer.
I am enjoying learning and applying new techniques to my paintings.
Even though I am just starting, I am stoked!
I can't wait to get home from school tomorrow so I can paint!

Until later,
